Everyday Style is the BEST if you are like me and 95% of the people I know: not rich, corporate, or living in a large metropolitan city! I just tried to listen to another Style podcast recommended by my podcast app. The host recommended designer accessories to instantly elevate your style. She shared a personal story about a Dolce and Gabanna belt. I live in rural MT. A designer belt is NOT going to elevate my style. I went to college in Denver. A designer belt would not have elevated my style there. Everyday Style’s advice is more like “wear the colors you love” and “an empire waist does not help hide a tummy” or “pay attention to your shoes!”. Which works for me. Designer accessories, no. Well maintained and stylish shoes (at whatever price is in your budget), YES!

A lot of words but no meaningful content. She’s just trying to sell her capsule wardrobe info. Don’t waste your time, you won’t learn anything about fashion here!

I’m so thankful I came across Jen’s podcast! She offers such practical style advice. Her episodes on body type have change the way I view my body and the clothes I wear. I’m much more confident in what I wear because of the advice Jen has shared on her podcast and in her capsule guide.
