Excited to listen more!
10 years ago, I fell into a deep depression after suffering from a bout of prolonged acute anxiety (ironically after I had just gotten married). A situation that I tried to control but couldn’t control had me spiral into a deep black hole. I took time off work and read a lot of Christian books. Father Richard’s name kept coming up in the books that I was reading, and when I got curious and listened to some of his talks, I was transformed. I had been doing black or white thinking my whole life and this was the first time I was introduced to the idea of non-duality. Over the years, I have really enjoyed many of his talks and they have helped me immensely. I have recently returned to the the church, somewhat timidly, with our small family of 4. I am looking forward to diving into Father Rohr’s teachings so that I can learn more about the contemplative way of the Christian faith tradition.
