Have you ever wondered what it really takes to have a successful bakery? Laurlee Morrison, a professional cake creator and designer, went from being a software engineer to having her own bakery. She talks with Nancy Hanson about the ins and outs of having a small business, including the choices that must be made - such as closing the business on Sunday. She read one day in a book that "you should pick one thing and do it well." She chose to focus on cakes and desserts! This talent has become her passion and livelihood. Laurlee’s courage to try something new has brightened hearts on many occasions through creating cakes, chocolates, and cupcakes!
