Strange inflection
The good side of this podcast is that the host seems to do a lot of research and it’s really interested in the stories themselves. The bad side is I can’t get past the strange inflection in his voice when he talks about the gruesome parts of a story. And it’s also like he’s just reading from a script which I’m sure he is but he doesn’t have sound like it.

Really digging this podcast. Not sensationalist or exploitive and doesn’t leave me feeling icky in the way that some true crime podcasts feel like “trauma porn.”
