Exploring Gender Mysteries – “Fuck” is a Famous Word.
Description
The famous “F” word expresses so much emotion! It is probably the most “feeling” word that anyone could use… or should I say: “any man can use”. Are women free to use the word “fuck” without being judged? Are men who “don’t” use the word “fuck”, f****d because they are not man enough? When all words “fail us” we know “fuck” will be our verbal salvation.
In 1937 Amelia Earhart asked: “Where the f**k are we?” We might be asking the same question about the acceptability of the word “fuck” in 2012. My guest is Christian, a young man who introduced this topic to me for discussion. He is a person of many skills and deep insight.
Follow-up summary of the show:
This show demonstrates the unconsciousness of gender. “Fuck” is thought of as a “man’s” word because it is so much a part of male culture that has the “right” to be strong and outrageous. Can women use “fuck” as freely without being judged? Our guest learns that being non-judgmental is a challenge men and women face so they don’t “fuck-up” the relations they share.
