First time listener, episode 171, quite possibly my last
What great material is being presented. Who is this host and what is wrong with him? Billy is so enthusiastic, sharing such great, interesting info and the host couldn’t sound more distracted, dull, and unimpressed who either needs to do something about the audio. Absolutely terrible. This seriously triggered my miso phobia, although I think my strong reaction is somewhat warranted. Please tell me this guy was nearly dying of the flu during the taping of the episode and this episode was just an exception to normally decent stuff. Dude, I do not need to hear you like, blowing your nose, and gargling phlegm or whatever on earth is going on here. Dude, it is DISGUSTING. How does this happen? Why did you not mute yourself? I feel like you jut transmitted germs into my headphones and that I’ll become sick because of you. I don’t understand how a podcast with such great reviews lets something like this happen. A mouth breather, either hating life as he descends and crashes into a cocaine come down, or he knew he couldn’t let a cold keep him from letting Billy share this awesome stuff with his audience, and wound up taking a bit too much NyQuil, hence forgetting to mute yourself and you drown in mucous and sound like you’re about to nod off. mouth smacking, heavy breathing, sniffing, chair twirling, whatever it is, should be edited out of podcast. When your mouth nose and throat noises are so loud they dominate the volume of your guests, I find that highly unprofessional, insulting, and in this particular instance, utterly disgusting. This is only the second podcast show/episode I have ever reviewed. Sorry if I offended anyone. This just triggered me...
