“This doctor appeals to the various learning styles that people have. He provides visual aids in a separate document and then talks about the anatomy of the eye. As he talks, you can visualise in your own head where each components fits into place. This is great as you are actively testing yourself whilst listening, which is a key way of turning short term memory into long term memory. Finally, he tests you by providing questions at the end. Again, the more cognitive effort you use, the better you will remember and understand something.
All in all, this is a great way of learning about ophthalmology that be listened to anywhere.”
