On this episode of Fabulously Candice, we welcome Ron Kerns. Ron is an autistic, award-winning Graphic Designer, Art Director, and operates his own design consultancy, StudioKerns. After living in Detroit and Dallas for many years, he left big-city life to live in rural Arkansas, in the middle of the Ozark Mountains. Ron was diagnosed as Autistic at age 46, which had various impacts on his career and relationship with wife, Ronda, who passed away after a 4-year long battle with a rare, progressive lung disease. We discuss late diagnosis, "functioning" labels, stereotypes about Autism, the loss of his wife, and more.
