“First and foremost, the reporting of this is painful to listen to. Whiny sorority girls with vocal fry up the wazoo. Why didn’t they hire a voice actor to record this? Also, as a fellow woman, I am so tired of the constant “I’m a victim” narrative. Everyone, man, woman, child, has been treated poorly in their life and have the option to rise up or whine about it for the rest of their lives. Most VS models - while beautiful after being given the Angel treatment, are tall and awkward looking without the 10 pounds of makeup and designer blowout. These girls are now rich and famous and have the privilege to whine about their experience with this company that sells sex and unrealistic body standards for their models - they signed these contracts knowing ALL of this. It obnoxious and eye rolling. Do we actually feel sorry for these women when there are actual horrible injustices happening to women and children around the world? Put your eggs in those baskets. This is over exaggerated journalism with the low hanging fruit of sex appeal.”
