To think of all the pain and suffering that was hidden underneath the glossy smiles on those glossy pages; perpetuated by a toxic industry of predatory gatekeepers and enablers, my god, it makes me want to cling to my teenage self & never let her go… what a bill of goods we were sold at the expense of young women.
**and for the reviewer who said the models were “grown women who knew what they were getting into” - they were NOT grown women, they all started out underage, many as young as 14 years old & were groomed by these predators- they grew up in a pernicious industry which was being sold to the public as the ultimate ideal”
