Made Me See Fandom In A New Way
Simply put, Fangirls Tricia, Teresa and Sarah are leaders on the cutting edge of where fandom based content and reporting needs to go! I first heard them through Shotglass Digital's network (run by Rebel Force Radio's Jimmy Mac), and it was immediately evident that FGR was really taking the baton of great radio show audio quality and enetrtainment value, and running wth it. Also important to note this was the first all female podcast. What I love most about the show is that they are three different, unique, vibrant voices whos presonalities work very well off each other. Which for me, is always required, for an authentio radio show. Few Star Wars based podacsts truly seem to take podcasts to the professional "radio show" level, and FGR is a leader in that. Right now I'm listening to an archived show on iTunes, episde 45: Star Wars Celebration Stories, and it's a perfect way to relive some of my memories from that Orlando event. Now and then I'll also hear from other personalities in Star Wars fandom, like Sandra Choute amd Adjua Odama, and that's always a treat. You'll also catch guests like Star Wars Rebels and The Clone Wars TV shows director Dave Filoni and it's easy to see why he'd want to be a guest here. To sum up, this is one of the few shows that leaves me feeling good in that it's energy is always postive and fun, and colouful - like it's logo! It leaves me feeling great about fandom. Finally, I love how they get me excited for the female perspective, which is more exciting now than ever! Din Singer of F-105 and The Soles
