“I know, I know. There are a lot of Wheel of Time recap podcasts out there, so why listen to this one? It’s because this is a father-son duo, and you can tell these two respect and love each other. Also, though both have read the series already, they do a good job of focusing on a “spoiler light” presentation, great for a first-time reader who’s looking for clues about what to pay attention to but doesn’t want future events ruined. The Wheel of Time is famous for being amazing on a re-read to revel in Robert Jordan’s epic foreshadowing, but using this podcast should bring forward some of the joy of a re-read to one’s first read. Also, Jim and Zack touch on non-Wheel of Time fantasy and sci-fi in entertaining ways. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable podcast for any self-respecting nerd. Highly recommend!”
