“First episode was killer when Rick Wilson showed up. Molly and Rick work SO well together, and I thought, “oh hallelujah, they’re getting the BAND back together again!”
Unfortunately they kept their “Pete Best” in the band, aka producer Jesse Canon, who was the reason I stopped listening to The New Abnormal after Rick left and they made the terminal mistake of elevating Jesse to co-host. DERP!
Jesse Canon is NOT a good radio personality; his speaking voice is terrible (it sounds like he has permanent sinusitis), his mic technique is reprehensible for a supposed audio engineer (he’s all about the annoying ‘plosives), and I hate that he has to insert and/or edit his comments or his laughter into EVERY conversation whether he’s being addressed or not.
PLEASE send Canon back behind the scenes where he belongs before he ruins this pod too!”
