Mr. Meacham is so respectful and patriotic in the way he speaks. Honestly I wish he could be president. I just heard the interview on Skullduggery and subscribed to your podcast. Listened to both episodes out now all at once it was so good. As depressing as this topic is, it’s important and I welcome any dialogue that advocates us seeing fellow Americans who we disagree with as worthy opponents, rather than mortal enemies. I’m also an Independent who regularly votes for candidates of both political parties. So I don’t belong on either side of the partisan divide.

As a non American I did not fully grasp the long history that led to January 6. Sure I recognized the sound bites of McCarthyism, the John Birch society etc. but had never put the whole arc of history together. Thank you mr meacham for doing just that.
