“Its a decent podcast with some intelligent discussions. But most of the discussion is not very nuanced and has a very singular view of feminism centred around white women. I think there is a need to be more inclusive in the discussion of the genre.
Also I have seen when they have POC guests who raise race issues - Jen and Sarah just go past it or just ignore it. I don’t know if its because they don’t care or that they are not comfortable discussing it because they are white.
And it does get a bit repetitive - their viewpoints are good but not very nuanced so if you listen to a few episodes you start to see a pattern.”
