Original knitting Content
I really enjoy the way this podcast blends a hobby with the history behind it. I find it interesting to learn more about people in the past who shared similar skills and about the historians researching them now. The host does a wonderful job telling the stories and has a soothing voice to listen to. Thanks for one of my favorite podcasts!

More reviews of Fiber Nation
Listen to contributors to the podcast spin a yarn about how members of various cultures spin a yarn, while you sit at your wheel or spindle and spin a yarn.

I hope that F+W’s bankruptcy won’t cost us this podcast. Two eps in and it’s like a magic potion for me at least; it’s well produced and full of detail that makes the storytelling rich. And it’s about fiber arts. It’s not a how-to; it’s a great way to fill in the universe around the craft.

I love listening to Fiber Nation because the content goes beyond my personal interests (knitting and crochet), extending to how fiber is integral to human history. Always something new and interesting. I particularly enjoyed the episode about the Donner Party. Thanks and more episodes, please!
