I think I might read the books
Interesting concepts but, ironically, they need to slow down their presentation. The speed at which they talk is problematic for a couple of reasons: 1. It cuts against the grain of what they’re trying to present as they breathlessly try to present over the top of each other. 2. They end up using a lot of filler language (“y’know”, “like”, “whatever”, “right!?” etc). 3. Their phrasing is so far out of whack grammatically due to the speed of delivery it’s almost impossible to listen to. UPDATE: Up to episode 7 and I am almost done - there is a level of self righteousness here that is nauseating. And two blokes talking like a pair of Valley girls gossiping at the mall had me wishing to do violence to my car stereo. This podcast is the aural equivalent of nails on a blackboard. A real shame as I think the message is a good one.
