This week our guest Jade Taylor Cooke (or simply Cooke) comes all the way from South Africa to chat about the childhood classic The NeverEnding Story (1984). We jump into this German classic which became a VHS staple for so many kids. Be warned though upon viewing as an adult it reveals a much darker film than you remember. This episode gets deep into the philosophical metaphors and insane ideas we all missed when we first watched The NeverEnding Story in our PJ's and blanket forts! Enjoy!

Its the first film of the podcast which I haven't seen before and the first subtitled movie we have had!! We dive in and chat about some big issues the film raises like gender, sex and our perception of love! (Unfortunately due to some recording errors the last 5 minutes has a bit of overlap)
