A worthy companion to Filmspotting!
Alison and Matt are very good. I've been listening to Filmspotting regularly since the days of Sam and Adam, and love that podcast, but I find this spinoff equally good. I don't want to get into "which is better" though. They are both great, and have different feels and energy levels to them. I have to "listen faster" to SVU to keep up with them - it's a fast paced show. I appreciate Adam for being willing to help create some good competition for his original show.

I find SVU quirky and fun, a nice departure from the main Filmspotting podcast. I couldn't see Adam bringing the same energy as Matt & Allison. For a review suggestion, I'd recommend Pressure Cooker. I'm interested to see what you think. It's available on Netflix.
