Matt & Alison are as personable as hosts as they are knowledgable about film and have that all-too-rare gift of what I call "just-right" podcasting: They speak off the cuff but never ramble, always remaining eloquent but never sounding too "written" or rehearsed. Their choice of films is also wonderfully free of constraints. Whether it be highbrow or lowbrow, an enjoyable film is an enjoyable film in the eyes of Matt and Alison, and so you know you're hearing about all the good stuff that's out there.
