Grit, Growth and Failure with Tom Cable
I found this episode to be so insightful on levels I did not expect. My son in law recently retired from a 12 year career in the NFL, so I was keenly fascinated by hearing a fresh perspective from Tom Cable as I watch my son in law take what he learned from his football career into the reinvention of himself in this next phase of life. My young grandson has a love of hockey and often after his games, he just wants quiet in the car; he wants to process the game and his efforts for himself — without any input from adults or siblings. I’d be sitting with this for a while - thinking how relevant this is for us adults to do too — to be able to sift through our experiences and emotions unfiltered. Then later, to open up and share our own perspectives and be able to take in helpful, meaningful feedback.

I AM impressed and will definitely listen to the rest of his podcasts. Thanks for...Read full review »
