“I’m a prolific podcast listener, but this is the first time I’ve been moved to rate or review. I absolutely loved your first episode and can’t wait to hear more. You have a great story telling way about you, and show great preparation.
I think I’ve been living a parallel life, learning the few stories in school, then getting into the Greek and Roman and Mauri stories, then getting a few Irish folklore kids stories to read to my little boys, but I never got as far as you in researching our stories properly. I’m greatly looking forward to going on this journey with you.
By the by, in the giants causeway story I was told, the Scottish giant built the causeway during his flight of terror away from Fionn, but no explanation was offered to how he got to Ireland in the first place.
By the by the by, my 6yo son has to do a school project talking about a person from another country and another time. He’s a wee Irish boy in Australia, and I hope he picks Fionn after enjoying your first story so much.
