Top Notch Already
Blair has really made something special here. I can only guess at how much time he put into production of this first episode, but Fireside is officially a top notch podcast already. The introduction was beautifully written, perfectly paced, and the audio cut ins of Nora were spot on. The 15 second opening background track by the fire was really subtle, and I doubt many will recognize it as intentional until they are accustomed to the brand. Production value aside, now, and in his past podcasts for the Maxwell Institute, he seems to have a knack for selecting the most relevant and thought provoking of topics, and can bring out the best in his guests. His thorough preparation and skill as an interviewer is abundantly apparent, and I assume Nora would rank him very high amongst her interviewers. I can’t wait to see what Blair has in store, and someday I’m taking him to lunch!

More reviews of Fireside with Blair Hodges
Great podcasts have one thing in common: a great host. Blair Hodges is a gifted interviewer and conversationalist. He asks the right questions and allows the guests space to expound on their writings. You’ll enjoy his dry wit humor as much as his theological exploration.
