It’s so good to have Blair back
Everyone should listen to Blair Hodges’s Fireside. Blair is a masterful interviewer and a meticulous producer who gives the right amount of attention to sound quality, balance, musical elements, etc., making my job as listener easy and enjoyable. If you’re familiar with his previous work on The Maxwell Institute Podcast and enjoyed it, Fireside will give you more of the same, but with a bonus: while the MI Podcast was focused almost entirely on LDS and related religious books and topics, Fireside’s format gives Blair more leeway to choose any books and interviewees that he wants! I’m assuming that some of these will continue to be religiously themed—which I would love—but I really like the new breadth of topics available to one of my favorite contemporary interviewers. There are so many podcasts that it’s hard to know which ones are worth your time. This one definitely is.

Excellent podcast. I was disappointed when Blair left MIP but glad to once again hear his excellent interviews. The Adam Millet interview was superb. I look forward to many more.
