“As a graduate student approaching graduation in a short 7 months, this podcast has been such an amazing resource for gaining additional knowledge and hearing real-word advice and experiences that aren’t covered in our typical coursework. Admittedly, I was never the person to listen to podcasts, but with my long daily commute I took the opportunity to listen to First Bite on my drives and I am HOOKED! With limited instruction on pediatric dysphagia in graduate school coursework, this podcast helped introduce me to the roles of an SLP in feeding with the little ones. I also appreciate how the guest speakers include a variety of professionals that are masters in their field, which also continues to emphasize the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration. I would HIGHLY recommend this podcast to any SLP and related professional, but especially for new grads or someone new to the world of pediatric feeding. Can’t wait to see what other topics are to come in the future!”
