Unfortunate fail
I started binge-ing this podcast after hearing Jasmine as a guest on another podcast. She’s very well spoken and explains things in a very easy to understand manner. However, she focuses on calling out only certain people in her discussions on racism. I listened to an episode highlighting how Abraham Lincoln, the man who signed a document to free slaves, was a racist (what?!), but I’ve never heard her speak out about how racist Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, the democrat party as a whole, have been in their words and policies (FAR more evidence for this and the trickle down effects from their failed policies on the black and brown communities is undeniable). It would be lovely to find someone like Jasmine who didn’t have a political bias to help provide a good education on our history (no matter the politics) and ways to improve our communities, but I understand that it’s possible she hasn’t done this research, yet. I will be praying her eyes will be opened as she truly has a gift for speaking.

I’ve learned so much from each episode I’ve listened to and have come away with actions to take in my anti-racism journey. I especially appreciate her content for how to talk to children. I have young...Read full review »
