The opposite of what I was looking for!
As a newlywed I feel like one of my biggest struggles is the burden of unpaid care work, or the so-called “second shift” of keeping the house and our relationship running that seems to usually (but not always) fall on cis-het women. The “advice” in this podcast is filled with tips and tricks on how to manage your calendar down to the minute so you can have “alone time” to do things like budget and laundry, and is filled with honestly sad asides on how the podcaster is tired from being up with the baby but presumably, (because it is not mentioned) her husband is resting easy. I’m sure this is the right podcast if you want to fit into the mold of a 1950s housewife, but for me this was less about the things I value and want to do better in my relationship, like clear communication and shared responsibility.
