“I was sceptical of the format but I am totally won over. The research and the planning that goes into each episode is thoroughly evident. It is a joy to hear an interviewer ask concise, thoughtful questions and to actually listen to the answers without interjecting with their own point of view. The discussion of the games is interesting but it is the way that they are used to explore the life and backstory of the interviewee that is so clever. Desert-island disks with board games could not have been done better. Well done!”
