“I went in, almost sheepishly, knowing this podcast was for the fellas, and fearing I’d have that “Oh shoot...I don’t belong here” feeling of embarrassment. But I decided I’d just scope it out for my hubby, so I could honestly tell him I thought it was worth his time. What I didn’t count on was how multi-purposed it was, and how much I walked away with as a wife and momma. Yes, they are speaking to the men, but it gave me insight into where my husband might be coming from, how I can respond to his servanthood and leadership, and ways that I can partner with him and build him up as we raise our kiddos together. It is helping me understand the mission and calling God has given him as a father - which they back up with scripture references - which builds the foundation for everything else to sit on. RISE UP from.
And honestly, a ton of it can be straight applied to my work as a wife and mother. Practical, easy examples and steps that I can implement today.
In short...I loved it. And I highly recommend it for ANYONE interested in building their family team.”
