“I really wanted to love this for a number of reason that appeal to my audio senses, but it fell so very flat….
Contrived comedic effect, uncomfortable level of effort to make the conversation seemingly flow between the two hosts/pals with an excessive level of swearing that sounded less like highly amusing grown humour and more like two sixth formers stepping into a common room who still think it’s cool to swear. Sorry ladies as much as I’m an advocate for empowering women being this candid and creating conversation that men often turn into hibernating hedgehogs over, this really needs to be worked on in my humble opinion. Maybe if the two of you were to lighten up a little with a neat bourbon or two it’ll feel more sincerely connected and that would translate to the listener. Don’t mean to cause offence but do think this could be just the frank feedback you finally needed to hear.”
