Must listen, especially in the face of COVID-19
This podcast is a stunning work of journalism, a thoughtful showcase of how Katrina was a uniquely American problem and a road map for future disasters to come. The episode with Mike Brown is a standout. Vann is a wonderful narrator and the team clearly put much time and effort into the reporting. The story of Katrina and our failures after the storm are still vital information 15 years later. Cheers to the Atlantic for this beautiful and heartbreaking work.
