Thorough. Balanced.
It was hard to listen to the episode with Michael Brown. Michael Brown appeared to not only lack empathy but was so completely out of touch that it was alarming. To repeatedly ignore and not acknowledge the suffering of so many? For Brown, it is clearly all about HIM in this interview. Maybe he is suffering from a trauma condition but I sense the victim blaming, the judgement, the refusal to accept responsibility, the ignorance and total lack of awareness is his way of being and nothing new. He doesn’t know what he doesn’t know. It just makes one tired to think about it. 😢

This podcast takes you back with fantastic characters. The music is haunting, eerie and sparse. The host Vann Newkirk has a deep voice that’s a pleasure to listen to. His reporting is even deeper. LeeAnn is unforgettable.
