Delicious AND Nutritious
It’s so much fun to listen to these two explore a group of shows that are in danger of being lost to obscurity. They don’t take delight in destroying them-they instead look at them with empathy try to deconstruct what worked and what didn’t. However , if you’re looking for acidic humor, they reserve their venom for the people who really deserve it (narcissistic writers, egomaniacal producers, actors drunk on power) and the section Critical Reception is a joy. Give it a listen!

Excellent and what I expected from the talents of Mark Alpert and John Anker Bow. They keep you engaged and play off of each other exquisitely. Bravo, gents! Can’t wait for the next episode(s)!

I could listen to these two talk about anything, but especially musical theater history. You can hear how much they love combing through the research and choosing what to highlight for the listener. Like the best kind of nerdy deep dive. I promise you’ll be laughing.
