But even when we’re struggling with (or against) his plan for our lives, there is a silver lining: our hardships provide opportunity for us to cry out to the Lord for help. As he takes us by the hand and straightens our path, God patiently reminds us to lean on him, all the while doing some heavy-duty work on our souls.
