“Man, the podcasting medium is a perfect fit for Mick Foley. He’s a fantastic storyteller who can paint such vivid pictures in my mind as he recounts various stories from his life and career. One thing I want to point out is how Mick will be telling a story and then in doing so, he remembers something else and will tell a sidebar story, or in some instances two or three. Now, when most people start telling sidebar stories, they’ll get lost and lose their train of thought… not Mick. No, Mick’s sidebar stories enhance and compliment the main story he’s telling and ties everything together perfectly. I’m glad he goes above and beyond to tell such vivid stories and provide deep dives and rich information.
The average episode length is 2 to 3 hours long, but they feel like an hour each, they just fly by. That’s how engaging Mick’s storytelling is.
