“Hi guys, listened to this podcast for a while now, ever since our times of lockdown and have been really impressed with your very upbeat reporting on all things Villa. You keep my mood more level listening to you. My expectations are always high, probably rubbed off from going to Villa park over the years and listening to all the moaning fans I used to have sat round me and my family. We adopted Villa having got fed up with the dross we watched at Bristol Rovers and wanted to watch the most consistent Prem team. Our first game was with John Gregory as manager and Villa beat Bolton at home with Juan Pablo Angel scoring a great header in front of us and Villa went top of the league that day. We then started getting season tickets for many years. Like yourselves, there have been some reasonable times but some dire times too but this new set up is really inspiring the confidence in everyone. Amazing to think that a year ago, most people were deriding the team that had been signed at the start of the 19/20 season and the complete waste of money and how they just weren’t up to standard and realistically, most have started to come good in the 2nd season with a few other players added to it. Such a huge turnaround in fortunes for the club. Keep up the good work, I wish you lots of luck and sure that you’re hard work will help you to grow and grow.”
