“I’ve got nothing but love for these guys, but if you were looking for any kind of critique or analysis of Star Wars content, this won’t be for you.
They either love, or have convinced themselves that they love everything that comes out of Lucasfilm. and I understand it. In the content game, your currency is access. If you give anything less than glowing praise, you lose your potential connections for screening invites, screeners, and access to stars/creators.
They will feign criticism by saying that they did not like something on first viewing, but guess what - they watched it again the next day and now love it.
I like that they don’t just dunk on things we all know are bad, but the lack of honesty is almost as bad.
But, then again, in 50 years we will all be dead, so none of this really matters.”
