I lived in El Paso for 24 years and the city would always hear stories of Juarez women who had been taken, sold, or worse. It’s such a sad series of events, but I’m glad that attention is now being turned their way.

Born and raised in Juarez this really hits me hard and brings back so many memories... When I was 15 a girl from my neighborhood went missing a few months passed without knowing anything about her I ended up moving to the US with my family and until this day I have no idea what happened to her!
