“I do! Just love your podcast and have listened pretty much from the start. Rather like the lady who laughs out loud whilst listening to you in the woods - I too laugh out loud anywhere and everywhere.
So - have I got this wrong, because I thought ‘Little Britain’ was meant to be an ironic take on the small mindedness of ( a certain type of British) Britain, the introverted, inward looking, rather ugly, opinionated, somewhat ignorant ‘certain’ view… that’s how I watched the series at the time and am sure the boys pretty much said as much.
I think you’re right, the more benign comedy shows are most likely to be remembered. But I also think it’s interesting to have extreme attitudes put under the microscope to be examined in order to be a discussion point … 🤷♀️
