Excellent podcast and show
I have enjoyed Foundations, and it’s story. I’ve love Asimov for years. The writing, and acting is excellent. The only item lacking is the shoe runners story telling arc. His capricious decision to sideline Hari and Gaal throughout episode 5 greatly diminished the episode and story arc for me, and the overall story line. Up until episode 4, I thought the show runner had expected the perfect adaptation, only to have his incredibly poor decision of being Hari and Gaal back into the story at the end of episode 4, and to ignore them completely in 5. Then to have him brag about it on the podcast, added insult to injury. It conveyed an utter disregard and contempt for those watching and listening.

After listening to this first podcast(white men had to be the evil empire) and watching the incredibly dull and lumbering first episode don’t waste your time read the books and think for yourself.

Please endeavor to continue in the way Asimov would have sought. These books were written at a different time and have no need to be coupled to the politics and happenings of today. Yes there may be natural parallels, but don’t force our present world into the great series covers. Thank you!
