FOX's Chris Hoenig previews this weekends O'Reilly Auto Parts 500 in "FOX in the Fast Lane": NASCAR heads to Texas this weekend for the O'Reilly Auto Parts 500. The first Monster Energy Cup series race at the track since an off-season repaving, much to the chagrin of many drivers: (Gossage) "Race car drivers like old asphalt. NASCAR announcing Wednesday, April 12 is when they'll hear the appeal of his three-race suspension for the No. 2's failed post-race inspection at Phoenix last month. Dale Earnhardt Jr. announcing primary sponsor Axalta will dress out his car with a Philadelphia Eagles inspired paint job for June's race at Pocono (Earnhardt Jr.) "I'm really sad about that, being a Redskins fan." The scheme will help draw attention to the all-pro teachers charity, a joint initiative between the Eagles and Axalta. And NASCAR Hall of Fame voting is open.
