America rejected WOKE when we elected Donald J Trump just one week ago. The NFL, however, is still clinging to the woke manifesto.
San Francisco 49ers pass rusher Nick Bosa jokingly crashed quarterback Brock Purdy’s on-field interview wearing a white MAGA hat and now the league has slapped him with a fine of $11,255 bucks.
His crime? He apparently violated an NFL uniform and equipment policy by donning that MAGA hat.
Yes, even though it was during an interview, the league argues Bosa broke the rule banning players from wearing, displaying, or otherwise conveying personal messages either in writing or illustration, unless such message has been approved in advance by the League office.
The selective enforcement is what gets me. Why are players allowed to have “Black Lives Matter” plastered across their game helmets?
Still, in subsequent interviews, Bosa is standing by his choice of head wear and believes it’s a small price to pay for his freedom of expression.
Good for Bosa for not backing down!
