South Dakota Senator John Thune is our newly selected Senate Majority Leader. I’m Tomi Lahren, more next. It’s not the pick many in the MAGA camp were hoping for, but in a secret ballot vote, the Senate has selected South Dakota Senator John Thune as the new Senate Majority Leader. Now, as a South Dakotan, I humbly beg John Thune not to embarrass my state.  Thune has been Mitch McConnell’s right hand man for years, so while it’s not ideal, it’s not shocking he assumed this position. Senator Thune has been critical of Donald Trump and his MAGA agenda in the past, and quite publicly.  While this CERTAINLY concerns me, I am somewhat comforted to hear Thune reassure us MAGA folk that he will be a good custodian of the Trump agenda. After all, the Trump agenda is a MANDATE from the American electorate. It’s not just a suggestion. In Trump’s first term in office, many Republican members of Congress let him and the American voters down by either stonewalling his agenda or making it far more difficult than appropriate.
