Interesting story, awful presentation
I really wanted to like this because the story is interesting but this podcast is killed by the unnecessary re-enactments and crappy editing. One of the worst offenses right off the bat: Person 1: “You owed him money for marijuana correct?” Person 2: “Yes.” Person 1: “IS THAT A YES?!” Person 2: “Yes.” Update- The “Pete” actor in ep 3 is especially insufferable. I’m afraid this is an unsub from me. If Wondery really thinks this is quality content to present to the world, they need to get their heads checked.

More reviews of FRAMED: An Investigative Story

The case is interesting but the reenactments are brutal. The acting is HORRIBLE and it takes away from the actual story because they’re so cheesy. In any future podcasts, either find some better actors or just omit the acting completely and just have the story narrated.
