Much more than your average tech podcast
This show’s a little different from the other tech shows out there. I listen to Crave and Digital Planet, and stumbled on Frequencycast after getting bored with Stuff’s disappointing shows. The covers TV services such as Freeview, as well as gadgets. They’re really well produced shows - it sounds like the show has a production team, researchers, technical staff, and an engineer. I started with show 24 –, and listening back through older shows, I think I discovered that there are multiple agendas. There seems to be an almost riddle-like element to the show because within the format I noticed several things that appear to be unexplained. Why do they mention food in every show? And what’s going on with the presenters? “Carl” plays the idiot, but seems to know more than he lets on. There must be more to this show than meets the ears. Great shows, and a must for anyone bored with traditional tech podcasts. I’d love to find out who’s behind the show… and if I’m imagining this riddle element, as I think I’m onto something here.
