“I’ve been a long-time listener of two of the hosts’ other podcast, Swish & Flick. I really enjoy their podcast style over there and the chemistry those four hosts have as they discuss their topics in depth, so when Megan and Katie mentioned they were starting a new Friends podcast, I was interested. And when I was finally able to track down this podcast (a slight snafu where they’d accidentally chosen a podcast name that was already taken meant my search was only turning up that other podcast, not this one), I was delighted to read the description and realize how perfectly timed the creation of this podcast is with my own life. You see, I’m also watching Friends for the first time ever! And I’m doing it with my best friend, who’s a veteran of the fandom and can recite long stretches of dialogue as we’re watching! *And* I’m *exactly* as far as Megan, Katie and Crissy are in their viewing! It simply could not be more perfect! The mix of the hosts’ different levels of familiarity with the show makes their discussions relatable to fans of all levels, and I like being able to learn facts and trivia along the way without worrying about stumbling across major spoilers. I’m looking forward to seeing how long Ross remains Megan’s favorite, given what the internet has told me of his character development along the way. (Also, personally, I’d like to see a guest spot with Teddy and Iggy, to get their feline perspective. But maybe that’s just me.) I’ll definitely be seeing this podcast through till the very end.”
