Interesting Topic, but the Narrator…
If you like shows like The X-Files, Fringe, and another supernatural or paranormal topics, you may find this podcast interesting. However, be prepared for a narrator who is mildly annoying. His strange speaking cadence, attempts at dry sarcastic humor, and incessantly addressing the listener as, “dear listener“ became annoying. I kept listening thinking I was going to learn something new on the topic. Alas, I listen to the entire season and learned very little. Nothing earth shattering, but an interesting topic nonetheless. I would have enjoyed this more if the author/narrator had more of a normal speaking cadence and quit referring to the listener in the first person. This is a podcast, obviously we are listeners. It is weird in normal conversation for someone to be addressed formally every few minutes, it is even weirder in a podcast.

More reviews of The Conspiracy Tapes
