Potential buried deep under over-production
What at first seems to be a decent story (that unfortunately descends into blue on blue and spy versus spy by episode 4) is buried so deep in the over-production and sound ‘visualisation’ that it becomes difficult to follow. The human voices are always frantic or puzzled, the androids bland and with far too much distortion and the sound ‘effects’ are mostly1950’s ‘space-style’ wizzes and wooshes or versions of crash bang wallop. Far from being submersible, they are an outright assault on the ears and credibility. Since when did the story become of such little value compared to the music and the audio engineer’s ego?

Richard Madden can do no wrong!! Also love the immersive experience that QCode podcasts provide, they make you feel like you’re in a movie!

Apparently QCODE likes to set up great stories but never really delivers. Well see how this goes. Seems promising though.
