Greatest Bible Teacher of the 20th century, no contest
John Stott, J Packer and many others when honest, admit that it was MLJ who was the clearest and greatest bible expositor they ever heard. It's 50 years ago and you have to forgive him his occasional rant against the Roman Catholic Church, and also his use of the word "experimental" which would now days be "experiential" is irritating. Also it's in the early days of sound recording so the sound quality is not great. BUT it is still the most accurate, Holy Spirit filled, teaching of the New Testament of the last centuries.

No flashy, fancy talk. No flattery. No charisma. But, wow, he can really preach. He is able to clearly explain the scriptures. And he is great at getting to the heart of the issue. No waste of time! You don't need a joke to keep you interested. If you want to understand God's Word, listen to these!
