Wow
Have been a standard digital Canadian subscriber to the FT for the past couple of years. Access to Wolf's and Tett's columns were the initial hook. Then I discovered all the other stuff that the FT had to offer, including this podcast, which is not only thoughtfully topical but free-of-charge to non-paying newspaper subscribers, which should widen its audience nicely. Beware, though: one must (understandably) endure an opening advertisement. Great content needs to generate some revenue to offset the cost of producing it. The recent interview with Stephanie Kelton was a macro walk down the halls of finance. Kelton, along with Warren Mosler, is popularizing Modern Monetary Theory, and is refreshingly challenging many of the old (and verifiably mistaken post-GFC) assumptions of classical economics. Gawd, finally.

Superb and some people may not like this. It's factual and incredibly sensible. Keep it going and the Tim Harford interview was brilliant.Read full review »

I have had trouble finding the right podcast for complex topics. My trouble lies in a distaste, triggered by many podcasts, for substituting personality in the place of analysis. This podcast is as pleasant as a cup of tea after a morning of vigorous effort. Keep it going!
