“Have been a standard digital Canadian subscriber to the FT for the past couple of years. Access to Wolf's and Tett's columns were the initial hook. Then I discovered all the other stuff that the FT had to offer, including this podcast, which is not only thoughtfully topical but free-of-charge to non-paying newspaper subscribers, which should widen its audience nicely. Beware, though: one must (understandably) endure an opening advertisement. Great content needs to generate some revenue to offset the cost of producing it. The recent interview with Stephanie Kelton was a macro walk down the halls of finance. Kelton, along with Warren Mosler, is popularizing Modern Monetary Theory, and is refreshingly challenging many of the old (and verifiably mistaken post-GFC) assumptions of classical economics. Gawd, finally.”
